This is a pre-mix of the full "Zornes Heimat" album recording that was mixed by the band before we chose to enter the Blue House Studio, back in 2008, to mix the album in a professional studio. The recording is without the basslines, because the mix is also the one that Wolfhetan got to write his Bass parts for the album.
However, I like this mix very much.
Every time I listen to this version, I feel that time (the pure and raw energy we had at that moment).
It was a great time for us, me/Taaken and Grroll. We were so much into the music and as motivated as we ever were and will be.
At this time, I was also active in many other projects and I miss this time so much.
So I'm a bit nostalgic while I'm searching for the right words for this recording.
Because we're older now and time is a thing we don't have as much of as we would like...
... Alright then, enough talking...
We'd just like to thank you all for you eternal support!

The Inferno Requiem discography in general is very interesting. Though I don’t think his subsequent work surpasses the first album, there’s a consistent quality and uniqueness to everything he puts out. This is very good. Metallurgical Fire
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 18, 2019
